Apple has updated its Maps app to show the new Black Lives Matter street mural in Washington, DC.
The mural which spans across a section of 16th Street between K and H Streets leading up to the White House, consists of giant, yellow letters that can be even seen from space.
Following the approval of Mayor Muriel Bowser, the Black Lives Matter mural was painted by a group of supporters and the area in which it lies has since been officially renamed “Black Lives Matter Plaza.”
The newly renamed Black Lives Matter Plaza is now available on Apple Maps for both iOS and Mac devices using satellite view.
If you want to see the mural for yourself, simply open the Apple Maps app on your iOS device or Mac and zoom out in satellite view over 16th Street in Washington, DC.
While Google Maps and Bing Maps have both been updated to show the name Black Lives Matter Plaza, their satellite maps have yet to add the Black Lives Matter mural to its satellite imagery.
