You can now track packages sent to you from anywhere in the world using Google Maps.
TrackingEx.com, formerly known as TrackingNumber.org, is a tracking service based on Google Maps that allows you to track your packages from all the major postal carriers in one place, and for free.
Initially, the service only worked for packages sent by UPS, DHL, TNT, and FedEx. But now you can track packages sent by carriers such as USPS, EMS, Canada Post, China Post, Australia Post, Japan Post, and Royal Mail, among many others.
How to Track Packages with Maps
To track your packages do this:
- Go to TrackingEx.com.
- Select a carrier by clicking on its logo.
- Enter the tracking number.
- Click the “Track” button.

After clicking on the “Track” button, you will see a Google Map that shows you the current location of your package, plus other handy information such as the tracking record of the package which includes a map view that allows you to find out where your package has traveled.

Doesn’t appear that trackingex.com provides a map function for FedEx
That’s weird, TrackingEx.com provides both traditional text tracking records and visualized shipment locations on maps.
Map for my fedex package
The google maps stop by stop seems to have been discontinued. Perhaps the Porch Pirates were using it to look for packages to steal and it was discontinued. I have not found any comments about discontinuance.
