Netflix just released a new interactive map of The Witcher that also shows the show’s timeline so fans can easily keep track of all the wheres and whens.
According to several sources, Netflix’s The Witcher has a convoluted and hard to understand timeline. The show’s setting sometimes jumps decades in between scenes and some things just don’t make sense.
To the rescue comes Netflix with its new interactive map of the Witcher’s continent. It reveals things like how old Yennefer is and where Geralt was during Yen and Ciri’s journey. It also provides a general overview of the history of the series’ universe. The map starts with Episode 1, where Geralt refusing to choose the lesser evil must fight Renfri and thus receives the moniker of the Butcher of Blaviken.
You’ll also learn about stuff like the Conjunction of the Spheres, a cataclysmic event that allowed dangerous creatures like vampires, ghouls, and graveirs into the World’s dimension.
You can check out specific locations on the map by clicking around on the various points in the timeline. You can read a brief description of the event and even enjoy some cool visual effects like weather by clicking on one of the points located on the map.
Additionally, you can use the search bar to search for information about important characters, locations, races, beasts, and events.
Netflix’s Witcher interactive map was released last week on Friday, January 10, 2020. You can explore the Witcher’s continent map here.
